Aralarında bir tutsak, SERKAN ONUR YILMAZ, 250 günden fazla açlık grevindeymiş.

Açlık grevi yapan tutsakların taleplerini inceledik.
Koyu tecrit koşuları olmayan, onların “kuyu tipi” dedikleri olmayan bir hapishaneye, arkadaşlarının yanlarına sevk edilmek isteniyor.
Bu taleplerde kabul edilmeyecek birey yok. Son derece anlaşılır talepler.
Bundan dolayı Serkan Onur Yılmaz ve diğer süresiz açlık grevinde olan tutsakların taleplerini bir an evvel kabul etmenizi talep ediyoruz.
Serkan Onur Yılmaz her an hayatını kaybedebilir.
Böylesi makul bir talep için insanların ölmesi kabul edilebilir birşey değildir.
Biz Türkiye hapishanelerinde tutsakların açlık grevi yaptıkları için hayatlarını kaybetmelerini istemiyoruz.

We are currently concerned about the prison issue in Turkey. We are receiving information regarding hunger strikes being conducted by prisoners. We have learned that six prisoners are on an indefinite hunger strike due to the unbearable and inhumane conditions of their imprisonment. Among them, one prisoner, SERKAN ONUR YILMAZ, has been on a hunger strike for over 250 days and is approaching 260 days.
We have examined the demands of the prisoners on hunger strike. They want to be transferred to a prison that does not have harsh isolation conditions, which they refer to as “pit-type”, so they can be with their friends. There is nothing unreasonable in these demands; they are extremely understandable.
Therefore, we request that you accept the demands of Serkan Onur Yılmaz and the other prisoners on indefinite hunger strike as soon as possible. Serkan Onur Yılmaz could lose his life at any moment.
It is unacceptable for people to die for such a reasonable request.
We do not want prisoners in Turkish prisons to lose their lives due to hunger strikes.
